In like a lion, out like a lamb

While walking to work today, I was treated to a young man’s rendition of “Life Is a Highway” as he walked by me on the street. Now the street I was on was no side street. No, this was the main thoroughfare down the center of the city, and he was belting this song with his headphones on. If life were indeed a highway, he would sing his way through it.

Now I love a good acapella rendition of any song, but I gotta say, a version of “Windy” would have been better for today. Or “Up, Up and Away.” Or “Let’s Go Fly a Kite.” I don’t remember the…
