Tis the month of October which means that for many people it is time to celebrate that spooky holiday of Halloween.

Now I don’t know any witchcraft and my Halloween costumes inspire more laughter than fear, but I do think there is something in the air this month that I can’t explain.

Do you ever get like that? During the change of seasons when you walk outside, do you ever you feel a wind gust rush by you and you feel…somehow like everything is changing and in that change, anything is possible?

I don’t know what it is. I don’t know why when you walk in a crisp fall morning you get the sense that you can tackle the day. Not only that, you get the sense that you can tackle the week.

I don’t know why when you see a tree start to shed it’s leaves, that it can leave you breathless. Or why the smell of cider donuts and a glass of apple cider can bring a smile to your face and a feeling of comfort. I don’t know why lighting a candle in my apartment to watch Hocus Pocus/Addams Family (it was a double feature kind of night) can definitely set the mood.

I don’t know a lot of things. I do know though that I am going to try to stop and appreciate this moments. Maybe it’s magic, maybe it’s just fall. Either way, I hope you have plenty of moments this season that help you feel alive and that anything is possible.
